Tiffany Bozic's paintings and drawings are interpretations of the natural world — as seen through a warped microscope, in brilliant color, with Mozart's Rex Tremendae bumping in the background. Bozic grew up on an Arkansas farm, and this upbringing clearly informs her surreal imagery. A deep-sea battle rages between giant jellyfish, a fox perches lovingly atop a crane's nest, and snails are pictured caught in a loving embrace. Impeccable lines and a lush palette make her subjects seem straight out of Acta Zoologica, but with a darker and decidedly feminine touch.
