Music: Rock/Pop Go Betty Go w/ Monte Negro, No Way Jose, and Nuestra Sangre

The Troubadour's Cinco de Mayo party features the all-lady pop-punk sounds of Go Betty Go along with fellow bilingual bands Monte Negro, No Way Jose, and Nuestra Sangre. Go Betty Go singer Emily Wynne-Hughes has the powerhouse pipes of the Detroit Cobras' Rachel Nagy and Joan Jett rolled into one. She and her girls (including an actual Betty on the drums) ring in the 5th with SoCal's finest Spanish-language punk rockers before heading off to Mexico to continue their pummeling, cross-cultural revelry.
