Sweet-sounding folk-pop ensemble the Parson Red Heads have come a long way since moving from Eugene, Oregon to Los Angeles last summer. Their debut LP, King Giraffe, crawled up college-radio charts and onto the KCRW playlist, paving the way for a new six-song EP, Owl & Timber, to be released this month. But their greatest marker of success (and relief) is that all six band members are no longer stuffed into a tiny one-bedroom apartment. Tonight, they celebrate their rising star and new EP at Spaceland, alongside the Movies, My Pet Saddle, and the Monahans.
