Grab your dad and spend this Father's Day at the 16th annual Pasadena Chalk Festival. Paseo Colorado is the site of the world's largest street-painting festival, with hundreds of artists from around the corner and around the world flocking to the old-style village square to create spectacular murals on the ground. This outdoor gallery of ephemeral masterpieces enlivens two city blocks, but it also serves a greater good, with proceeds benefiting the Light Bringer Project, a Pasadena-based nonprofit organization that builds communities through the arts.
