Peter Saul, who hit his artistic stride mid-century during America's pop-art movement, has become best known of late as a creator of work that's part surrealist, part political cartoon, and part boldly colored abstraction. The San Francisco native's new exhibition at OCMA marks his largest solo show in the United States, and gathers some of his most impressive work spanning from the '60s to present day.
