Energy is the key word tonight as four bands leave their hearts out on the stage at the Air Conditioned Supper Club's. OK Stranger fire up the crowd with guitar-driven numbers, while the Royal Heist thrive on simpler power chords and singer Collin Pulsipher's unconventional phrasing. Epilogues' Nate Hammond uses his synthesizer to give "The World is Yours" an '80s feel, but it's the sound of bandmate Chris Heckman rattling his vocal chords raw that hones the band's sound. With all the talent on tonight's bill, don't forget Vonnegut, who show off some fantastic guitar picking on "St. Catherine."
