Music: Rock/Pop Hearts of Palm UK w/ Health Club, WEAVE!, and Fol Chen

Despite being nearly electrocuted by her equipment last month (and not for the first time), Hearts of Palm UK frontwoman Erica Elektra still wants to share her electro-pop with all of us. The all-girl trio employs keyboards, percussion, cello, and glockenspiel in beautiful, subdued arrangements that recall the warm digital sound of the Notwist. Joining the girls at Pehrspace tonight are lo-fi indie rockers the Health Club, Slits-inspired post-punk outfit WEAVE!, and mysterious electronic group Fol Chen, all of which are bright lights on the LA scene.
