Those suffering from art attention-deficit disorder should appreciate Moving Arts' 14th Annual One-Act Play Festival, a yearly roundup of short 'n sweet theatrical pieces. This year, six local shorts make their festival debuts, including Kevin Christopher Snipes' Appalachian road-trip tale, Hip-Skidoo; Terence Anthony's "twisted landlord" opus, Tangled; and Kevin Doyle's competition-winning Compression of a Casualty, the account of an untold Iraq casualty told through actual CNN transcripts. An opening gala on June 7 brings out the players for a party, while June 6 offers a pay-what-you-can preview performance.
