The quintessential pop artist was much more than a factory for silkscreens of Marilyn Monroe and Campbell's soup cans. In fact, the prolific Andy Warhol created a staggering variety of art until his death in 1987 — and Michael Kohn Gallery has the photographs to prove it. Although Warhol's prints gained him the most notoriety, photography was also frequently an integral facet of his work. Culled from over 200 black-and-white photos taken between 1976 and 1987, the collection here shows the artist's penchant for glorifying city life's otherwise mundane moments.
