Music: Soul/R&B Albert Hammond, Jr. w/ the Parlor Mob

Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond, Jr. kicks off an international tour tonight with a set of his trademark super-poppy licks and crunchy power chords. Hammond's 2006 album Yours to Keep was a fix for all the Strokes fans craving new music from the band, and if "GfC" — the first single from his new album, ¿Cómo Te Llama? — is any indication, Hammond has only improved upon the energetic, dynamic pop formula that he does so ear-pleasingly well. New Jersey-bred soul-rockers the Parlor Mob open.
