The Ojai-based Nathan Larramendy Gallery has teamed up with the illustrious Beautiful/Decay magazine to produce Weekend Warrior, a group show of LA artists whose work is ripe with allegory, satire, irony, and other trappings of artistic mutiny. Highlights include Ruby Osorio's deceptively sweet watercolors with feminist undertones, Robert Olsen's faux-modernist portraits of decidedly un-serious objects, and Case Simmons and Andrew Burke's prints of endlessly multiplying Internet debris.
