LA's Bodies of Water make life-affirming indie pop, a happy-go-lucky mashup of Arcade Fire's heart-thumping arrangements, the Polyphonic Spree's communal euphoria, and the Go! Team's joie de vivre. One need only hear the band's anthemic "Doves Circle the Sky" for proof of its interminable good cheer. Tonight, the many-membered collective, whose unbridled exuberance drew the attention of Secretly Canadian, hits up the Echo to celebrate the release of its new album, A Certain Feeling.
