A participant in LA Louver's group show Rogue Wave '07, Sarabia proves that his work is dynamic enough to stand on its own with a solo exhibition that collects new paintings, drawings, and sculptures. His experiences as a Mexican-American are visible not only in his traditional techniques (particularly his use of hand-painted ceramic vessels), but in the iconography (marijuana leaves, weapons) that references black-market commerce.
