Art CreativeTime and LACE present Mark Tribe: The Port Huron Project 4: We Are Also Responsible
-
- We Are Also Responsible
At Rhizome.org, Mark Tribe supports the creation and dissemination of forward-thinking contemporary art; CreativeTime is responsible for some of NYC's most genre-defying events; and LACE is a fixture in LA's anything-goes world of multimedia experimentation. Now, CreativeTime's long-overdue West Coast debut brings the three paradigm-shifters together for the fourth installment of Tribe's Port Huron Project, a national series recreating historical speeches made by icons of the modern Left. Tonight, artist and activist Ricardo Dominguez recreates César Chávez's incendiary antiwar, pro-labor speech delivered at the same downtown location in 1971.
Note: The event takes place on the South Lawn of Exposition Park.
