It's only been a little over a year since Sean Cassidy's brilliantly scatterbrained Memory Is a Vacuum exhibition at New Image Art, but already the edgy West Hollywood gallery is hungry for more. This time, New Image Art splits the show with Chicago-based graphic artist and painter Cody Hudson (perhaps better known as his commercial alias, Struggle Inc.). Like Cassidy, Hudson is equally playful and conceptual, with roots in skateboard culture. This joint exhibition includes new drawings, paintings, and installations, as well as a large found-object sculpture (complete with a custom soundtrack) that occupies the gallery's project room.
