It should come as no surprise that LA-based Cirque Berzerk was borne out of a group of devout (and highly flexible) Burning Man attendees. After all, one look at the Cirque's elaborate costumes, abundance of dreadlocks, and steam-punk aesthetic and an affiliation with the annual desert festival is obvious. The circus-style show features stilt walkers, aerial acrobatics, punk rock clowns, fire performers, and other vaudeville touches. The Cirque Berzerk performs for four nights at Los Angeles State Historic Park in Downtown and encourages attendees to arrive early and take advantage of the wine-and-beer garden for a pre-show picnic.
