If you're feeling violent, literate, and/or vaguely Mediterranean, step into the cool confines of the Egyptian for a double feature of subtitled Italian cinema. In Città Violenta, mustache pioneer Charles Bronson and hairy opponent Telly Savalas spar manfully over the affections of Jill Ireland, while a spooktronic Morricone soundtrack sets the mood. Next on the bill is Milano Calibro 9, one of the greatest of Fernando Di Leo's crime films.
