At the root of western-music mythology stands the Wrecking Crew, a legendary and ultra-prolific group of LA session musicians, lovingly portrayed in a new film by Denny Tedesco — son of late guitarist and Crew-member Tommy Tedesco. The first entry in Allison & Tiffany Anders' "Don't Knock the Rock" festival (Thursdays through August), The Wrecking Crew starts things off on an impressive high note, combining archival footage and more recent interviews with main players and producers, set to some of the most popular and acclaimed music of its time.
