Art The Joint Custody Project

Many artists feel that they express themselves best through their own singular vision, making collaboration in the visual arts somewhat rare. But Found Gallery's The Joint Custody Project is set to prove them wrong. The second annual event is a "blind collaborative project," in which artists from LA and around the globe are paired up for one month. The duos are responsible for creating art without any verbal communication, relying solely on visual dialog to move the process along. Guest curators for the LA exhibition (there is a Joint Custody Project taking place in Berlin at the same time) are artist Tad Beck and Flavorpill's own Shana Nys Dambrot.
