Conversations That Never Happened is a series of four communal, food-based art happenings in and around Telic's Chinatown gallery, created by a group of chefs, performance artists, and designers. Choose between sophisticated, reservations-only, avant-garde dinner theatre; a pot-luck version with a decidely DIY bent; a conceptual, public-art-inspired picnic; and a tongue-in-cheek TV-dinner night featuring a program of short films from the Echo Park Film Center, with an individual-seating setup exploring the American habit of eating alone in front of the TV.
