At the corner of Sabbath Street and Pink Floyd Boulevard sits the hairy group of retro rockers known as Bigelf. They've enjoyed a break from the limelight recently, writing and recording new album Cheat the Gallows and, for a few members, visiting their home country of Finland. Released by Linda Perry's Custard label, their record hits the streets this evening as the dukes of prog rock take the stage at the Roxy. Joining them in celebration are incomparable psychedelic jammers Vas Defrans and teen phenoms Din Caliber, who are as hirsute as their Bigelf brothers.
