Hailed as one of the ten greatest film scripts of all time by the Writers Guild, Network delivers a scathing commentary on network television's ratings game. Faye Dunaway, who claimed one of the film's four Oscars (Best Actress), steams up the screen as Diana Christensen, a cutthroat network executive climbing her way up the corporate ladder. It's Peter Finch who steals the show, though, as prophetic anchorman Howard Beale, who utters the film's most classic line, "I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not gonna take this anymore!"
