The international artists in the MAK Center's long-standing residency program unveil what they've been working on for the past six months. The Schindler House hosts the presentation of final projects from Austrian artists Manuela Mark and Raimund Pleschberger, Canadian architect Paul Dallas, and the collaborative trio of Eldine Heep, Oona Peyrer-Heimstätt, and Paul Peyrer-Heimstätt. Gleaning perspectives from their temporary home in the nearby R.M. Schindler-designed Mackey Apartments, the artists' works are inspired by their SoCal sojourns; but as in past years, the perennial issues of weather, traffic, and celebrity are as likely to inform the projects as are politics or art history.
