Staten Island's royal family (the Wu-Tang Clan) is a little lighter this evening, as head honcho GZA brings his downplayed swagger and smooth flow to LA. Of course, this is nothing new: the Brooklyn rapper hasn't rested much since the Clan's early-'90s hey-day — this year he released 8 Diagrams with Wu while still finding time for a sold-out solo tour in support of his critically acclaimed solo album Liquid Swords. Refusing to raise his voice or even deign to show off a silly dance move, GZA stays the course and gives the fresh coast a taste of his brand new album, Pro Tools.
