Though a classically trained pianist, Hans Fjellestad has made a name for himself recording experimental electronic music and making acclaimed films such as Moog (2004), about synthesizer pioneer Robert Moog. In a glorious feat of multitasking while he begins work on next film Lords of Chaos — about Norwegian black metal — he also curates ResBox, a unique monthly showcase of experimental music from around the world. The series kicks off tonight with Carl Stone, Leticia Castaneda, Motoko Honda, Emily Hay Trio, Wayne Peet, and Brad Dutz.
