Brace yourself for overstimulation: peripatetic art/performance collective Cannibal Flower is throwing its eight-year anniversary show. The soiree, held at downtown's Los Angeles Firehouse, includes the work of dozens of local alt-culture artists including Anthony Ausgang, Nathan Cartwright, Chris Peters, and Tiffany Liu. Chicano artist Eric Montoya is specially featured, crafting haunting portraits from painted flora. Check out performances from bands Domestic Fury, Ephemme, and Body Suspension Crew, as well as live painting, body piercing, and, tying it all together, an impressive roster of DJs.
