Admission to an American Ballet Theatre performance guarantees a view into an opulent procession of grace and beauty. In what may be one of the few events that makes crossing the Orange Curtain worthwhile, ABT brings the West Coast premiere of Rabbit and Rogue, the 15th work by one of the true icons of dance, Twyla Tharp. There isn't a style that Tharp hasn't left her print on, including those explored in projects with David Byrne, Milos Forman, Mikhail Baryshnikov, the New York City Ballet, and the Paris Opera Ballet. With music composed by Danny Elfman and the virtuosic techniques of the stellar principals, Rabbit and Rogue has the potential to fit snugly into ABT's vast repertory.
