Josh MacPhee and Favianna Rodriguez's Reproduce & Revolt is a bilingual archive and how-to manual for anyone interested in the history of creating — and the logistics of distributing — the art of political protest. Celebrated in Crewest Gallery's current exhibition, the book features hundreds of international voices and visions. The show's run ends tonight, with a words-and-pictures jam between socially conscious author and alt-culture sherpa Mike the PoeT and graf guru Mear One, who regularly collaborate on the kind of paradigm-subverting art happenings highlighted in the book.
