International-artist-friendly Fette's Gallery rings in its fall season with Insekts, an installation of new works by Swiss mixed-media artist/embroiderer Sandrine Pelletier. The Laussane/Paris-based artist creates objects that are as delicate as they are haunting: skeletons composed of feminine lace, textiles featuring nightmarish scenes, and eerily appointed brooches. In Pelletier's Insekts, childhood memories, artifacts, and fables serve as the inspiration for a sepia-toned dreamworld.
