Brainy prog-rock demigod Maynard James Keenan has gone from fronting Tool, A Perfect Circle, and Puscifer to his latest, somewhat quieter role as eco-conscious vintner. He and Arizona-based partner Eric Glomski travel to select Southern California Whole Foods locations this fall to unveil and sign bottles of their new Arizona Stronghold wines, plus autograph Chupacabra and Caduceus 2006 releases from Keenan's other lines. If Keenan's winemaking prowess is anything like his musical sensibilities, this could prove to be an auspicious career move for the prolific rock icon, who has released more than 15 albums, a number of EPs, and collaborated with everyone from Tori Amos to Deftones.
