The mother-daughter relationship is fraught with emotion and drama, and what better venue for exploring that tension than a two-woman exhibition of sculpture and painting? Christa, the mother, is a gifted figurative sculptor who works in bronze to create haunting, bold, and sometimes brash icons of feminine strength and animal essence. Katina's expressive oceanic abstractions combine the power of waves with the meditative depth of Tai Chi's sweeping motion arcs and the elegance of Modern design.
