The next generation of children sadly will be deprived of the joyous anticipation that accompanies instant-photograph developing — the whole shaking-and-waiting routine that goes on as the emulsion settles. In light of Polaroid's plan to pull the plug on instant film, Found Gallery celebrates the user-friendly, nostalgia-inducing medium. Curated by Flavorpill's own Ashley Tibbits, Camera Ephemera presents eight artists who explore instant-film's role in the photographic universe. From capturing heartwarming childhood memories to crazy party moments, instamatics have preserved countless grainy scenes on tiny square canvases.
