Kristi Lippire cobbles together images from a mind-boggling array of sources, then fashions them into large-scale works. Using plywood and other construction materials to reinforce her design preferences (unmediated natural materials like wood and earth and found objects from powdered sugar to animal artifacts), she draws on her considerable craft skills and wicked sense of the absurd to build monuments to the vagaries of memory and imagination.
