While it's certainly true that things are finally looking up in this country, the premise of curator Claressinka Anderson's latest parfait is that things will likely get worse before they get better. The assembled group of artists bears witness to the depth of the depravity and destruction wrought in recent years: Ricky Allman's vertiginous urban skyline, broken by the maelstrom of a psychedelic tabernacle, impugns the sway of organized religion; and Robert Billings offers a towering warrior robot, constructed of hundreds of model-airplane boxes, mirrors, and toy guns, that both evokes and lays waste to war-game fantasies. Along with the other artists in the exhibition, they remind us that there's still plenty of mess to clean up in the world before we can rebuild.
