This week's edition of cabinet-rattling weekly Low End Theory features Bass Science, an intercontinental collaboration between Tokyo-based MattB and LA native Steve Nalepa. The pair craft their tracks by passing them back and forth over the web, then get together every few months to slay dance floors with hybrid bass music that combines dubstep and glitch-hop. Brooklyn's Eliot Lipp joins them this evening with a Lipp Service full-band set featuring members of Pnuma Trio. Experimental hip-hop beatsmith Alex B rounds out the powerhouse lineup.
