Aside from the landscape, womankind has been art's favorite subject — and few portray femininity quite as impressively or distinctly as photographers Richard Prince and Wallace Berman. Three decades of work from this noted pair of artists — both of whom have dedicated themselves to the portrayal of women in provocative, sensual, and abstract form — is on display together in SHE. Highlights include rare editions of Berman's handmade art and poetry magazine Semina, and Prince's automotive Sweetheart of the Rodeo, a vinyl-wrapped Buick National covered from bumper to bumper with images from the artist's titillating Girlfriends series.
