Danielle Eubank: Oil on Water
-
- Danielle Eubank, Channel Islands Harbor VI, oil on linen, 2008. Courtesy of the artist.
Danielle Eubank's ethereal pieces straddle the line between formalism and figurative representation, resulting in a dreamy, surreal body of work. The California native's paintings have enabled her to travel globally as an expedition artist, sailing on replicas of ancient vessels while documenting the eye-opening journeys in her art. Eubank is on hand at the opening of her latest show, alongside her mesmerizing images of light and water; also featured in the exhibit is a selection of works from the artist's travels along the Mediterranean by way of the Suez Canal.
