Dublab co-founder and wacky, dandified multi-instrumentalist Daedelus engages the world of dance, adding his uplifting, out-of-this-world, psych-electro perspective to this evening's show. Part of Santa Monica College's Under the Radar concert series, it takes place at the Edye — the campus' intimate Broad Stage venue where "experimental" is the soup du jour. Daedelus is certainly no stranger to the cutting edge, being one of the pioneers of Monome technology and Max/MSP software, and having wooed beat junkies and electronica fiends from Jamie Lidell and Daft Punk to Justice and Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood into following suit and incorporating the technology in their live shows. Expect a tall wall of beats, boings, and rare grooves, with holes big enough to dance through.
