Famed LA punkers Babyland tread an unlikely road to ruin, marrying hardcore vocals to fluttering dance beats and industrial bangs. Once barking like a punked-up Skinny Puppy, the band is less balls-to-the-wall in adulthood, but its aesthetic remains as aggressive as ever. Thin, skittish beats pound the ground as the group's singer spits his way into oblivion. Their erratic energy means tonight's set is sure to inspire movement of some sort. When the beats kick in, the only real question is whether to stage dive or strut.
