Local indie fixture Kenneth Pattengale holds court tonight at El Cid, unveiling his newest record, Storied Places. The album is speckled with influences ranging from folk to R&B and lonesome country; woven together, Storied Places offers a set of narratives buoyed by Pattengale's rare lyrical grace. He's joined by the Found Object Orchestra, a vivacious cast of characters on pedal-steel guitar, banjo, accordion, and other musical tools.
