Tea lovers across the Southland are invited to a series of tours hosted by tea guru Kulov. On October 11, Some Like It Hot kicks off with a tour of the current Fowler Museum exhibition Steeped in History; The Art of Tea, focusing on teas from the East. A luncheon at Jin Patisserie follows, prior to a Chinese tea tasting at 1001 Plateaus. November 15, The Big Chill focuses on teas from the West, with a demonstration and workshop with master tea blender and founder of The Art of Tea, Steve Schwartz. An afternoon "nightcap" winds things down at the fashionable Algabar tea shop, with tips from founder Gail Baral sure to add flavor to your favorite food and drink recipes.
