Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences says…

The Academy and the UCLA Film & Television Archive will present a series of recent Iranian films, each followed by a discussion with one or more of the film’s principal creators. The series continues at the Academy’s Linwood Dunn Theater on Thursday, October 15, with a film program and discussion with actor Amin Tarokh, director Alireza Raisian and screenwriter Farhad Tohidi.  It will conclude on Friday, October 16, with a program hosted by Oscar®-nominated actress Alfre Woodard, featuring  director Rakhshan Bani Etemad, actor Reza Kianian, director Mohammad Mehdi Asgarpour and screenwriter Farhad Tohidi.
