The American Cinematheque teams with Wise Guys Events for a high-tech Scavenger Hunt. Visit historic locations where Hollywood's spookiest ghosts still dwell, hunt for hidden messages and create your own video masterpieces, "Blair Witch"-style, that will be premiered for all to see on the big screen-- or should we say, on the big SCREAM? It's closer than Knott's, it's funner than the Queen Mary, and it's scarier than anything on Hollywood Boulevard. Bring a team or meet new friends and play the HAUNTED HOLLYWOOD MOVIE GAME. Frights, camera, action! All ticket buyers must e-mail for special pre-event information. One team member must have a smart phone (blackberry, iphone, palm pilot) that can download an app to play the game. If you do not have one, you will be assigned to a team that does. We will e-mail you additional information about downloading the app in advance of October 17. Everyone can play! Then stay for the award show and screening of THE LOST BOYS and THE GOONIES following a brief dinner break. The films are included in the price of the Scavenger Hunt ticket.
