In conjunction with Jay Mark Johnson's Spacetime exhibition at ACE Gallery in Beverly Hills, KCRW host Frances Anderton presents a discussion with writers, artists, and a physicist to help identify and locate mathematical themes in art, specifically the notion of combining space and time within a sole continuum. Writer and academic Elizabeth Losh moderates the panel of art and science brainiacs, which includes Director of the Global Design Effort for the International Linear Collider and member of the National Science Board, Barry Barish; author and curator Christopher Finch; and writer, art critic, curator, and Managing Editor of Flavorpill Los Angeles, Shana Nys Dambrot.
