Artist, author, and founding member of Talking Heads, David Byrne is also an avid cyclist, and tonight, he moderates a panel discussion on LA's future as a bike-friendly city. Panelists include Jimmy Lizama, co-founder of the nonprofit, Bicycle Kitchen; Senior Bicycle Coordinator for the Los Angeles Department of Transportation, Michelle Mowery; and professor of urban planning at UCLA, Donald Shoup. Cyclists and other lovers of the two-wheeler will have the opportunity to pick up signed copies of David Byrne's Bicycle Diaries, with bike valets courtesy of the Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition.
