Japanese American National Museum says…

In 2007, Giant Robot launched its first biennale celebrating 15 years as a magazine and a pop culture phenomenon. For its second retrospective, the magazine invites us to take another trip down memory lane (and to Little Tokyo) for the GR Biennale 2. In addition to a group show featuring artists like Souther Salazar and Jeff Soto, other special events include a conversation with artist James Jean, the launch of custom video games developed with imagery by GR artists, and a tribute to the kaiju scene, with a visit by UglyDolls co-creator David Horvarth.
