Fresh from a year of acclaimed exhibitions in Europe and NYC and the opening spot on Madonna's recent tour, Marilyn Minter is set to take on West Hollywood, Westwood, Downtown, and breast cancer awareness. Regen Projects devotes both its galleries to Minter's paintings, photographs — including a glamorous and critically acclaimed series starring Pamela Anderson — and her wildly popular video Green Pink Caviar, in which tongues, glitter, and gold forever alter the way you think about gourmet appetites. Green Pink Caviar also begins a long-term installation on 24-hour loops in the lobbies, balconies, and in-room channels at both local Standard Hotel locations and as a public project on two HD billboards on Sunset Blvd, near the Key Club. Plus a still from the film graces a new limited-edition handbag, created with Intermix to benefit the cancer-fighting activities of Bright Pink.
