For the sixth year, the LBC artist collective FLOOD puts on Soundwalk in the East Village Arts District, expanding to include the nearby Pine Ave enclave and an international roster of over 40 artists from the sculptural, architectural, and ambient aspects of sound-based installation art. Occupying both interior and outdoor spaces, this free, self-guided program is meant to be experienced on foot over the course of several hours like a loosely-defined scavenger hunt.
