Little more needs to be said about bass-and-drums trio Big Business beyond the fact that they're the official rhythm section for stoner champions the Melvins. (Attaining this position is like being awarded the Nobel Prize in Metal.) The choice makes perfect sense, since Big Business are loyal devotees of the Melvins' school of rock, slinging sludge-covered bass riffs, propulsive drums courtesy of ex-Murder City Devil Coady Willis, and vocals that manage to be both guttural and melodic. To ease into the onslaught, the 400 Blows bring slick and melodic fan faves and ultra-heavy harmonies, while Tweak Bird keeps it just a little sweet.
