“Inspired by its current exhibit, Heroes and Villains: The Battle for Good in India's Comics, the sixth annual Muse Costume Ball invites guests to dress as their favorite lionheart or lawbreaker. LACMA opens its doors to the exhibit for a special late-night viewing, with music by Voxhaul Broadcast and world-class DJs helping to get merrymakers in the Halloween mood. Art installations by Mindshare Labs, large-scale projections of '80s Indian horror films, complimentary cocktails, and the (in)famous costume contest round out the evening.”

The Muse Costume Ball returns for its sixth glorious rendition and invites you to choose a side, as good faces off against evil for this year’s Costume Ball, inspired by the special exhibition Heroes and Villains: The Battle for Good in India's Comics.
Bear witness, if you dare, to a live presentation by Gotham Chopra, author and co-founder of Liquid Comics, of India Authentic Issue number 2: Kali, Mistress of Death plus live music, art installations, video projections, and more! Complimentary cocktails featuring Dos Equis, Malibu Family Wines, and Pernod Absinthe will also be served.
If you've been before then you already know, the costumes steal the show. The best will compete in our annual costume contest, and this year, compete for the coveted titles of Best Hero, Best Villain, and Most Creative. Past contest winners have received airline tickets, hotel stays, restaurant gift certificate, and more.
